“Cody’s academic record was worthy of our consideration for a scholarship.” said Fund Advisor Lon Uso, “but what really impressed me was his work ethic. In addition to working at the Holiday Market, he has his own business.”
Cody graduated from Clarksville Charter with a 4.0 grade point average. He is the recipient of the Golden State Seal Diploma, the President’s Education Excellence Award, and the Honor Roll.
Cody has been a resident of Cool, CA for the past 16 years. He will be attending The Master’s University in Southern California and plans to obtain a degree in Business.
The Fund Advisors recently hosted a lunch for Cody and shared their college experiences. Ken Calhoon, Chief Executive Officer of Making A Difference, gave specific instructions to Cody. “We hope we have made a difference in your life. The payback is that you are now obligated to make a difference in the life of another. Make good decisions.”
